Respiratory Care Curriculum: Invasive Mechanical Ventilation
In this course, learners will learn the fundamentals of pediatric invasive mechanical ventilation including intubation, ventilator setup, initiation, management, assessment and documentation. Additionally, the attendee will complete an online ventilator simulation. This is a free, self-paced, open-enrollment course that may be started and completed at any time. This course would have not been possible without the talented, thoughtful and kind leadership of Craig Smallwood, PhD, RRT. He was a brilliant young scientist, educator and innovator who was an inspiration to all who had the honor of working with him. In Memoriam Craig Smallwood, PhD, RRT
