Kilby Mann is an academic Pediatric Physiatrist and Director of Pediatric Rehabilitation at the University of North Carolina. She completed a Pediatrics residency at Rush University in Chicago followed by a second residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Washington where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Mann is past chair of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine Complex Care Committee and current chair of the American Academy for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Pediatric Inpatient Member Community. Dr. Mann focuses on quality improvement work in care for children with new onset illness or injury in the hospital and highlights the importance of interdisciplinary teamwork to provide the best care for complex patients.
