Fever and Neutropenia
In this module, we will discuss identification, assessment, and management of a febrile, neutropenic pediatric oncology patient.

Learning Objectives
Recognize the patient at risk for serious bacterial infection due to chemotherapy induced neutropenia
Describe the clinical assessment, laboratory studies, and diagnostic tests appropriate for evaluation of a patient with febrile neutropenia
Identify the optimal interventions for management of patients with fever, neutropenia, and risk for serious bacterial infections.
