FEAST Trial: Perspectives on Fluid Therapy

Professor Maitland is a consultant in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at Imperial College, London, and an honorary fellow at the MRC Clinical Trials Unit, London, but is based full time in East Africa. Her main areas of scientific interest are clinical investigative research and clinical trials in critical illness in resource poor settings, and her research portfolio includes severe malaria, sepsis, severe malnutrition, and severe anaemia.
