Deborah Stein, MD

Dr. Deborah Stein is a Pediatric Nephrologist at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her academic interests include dialysis, fetal nephrology counseling, and teaching.

Dr. Stein brought previous experience from developing interactive dialysis teaching tools for clinicians and had the dream of creating a tool for families and patients to understand peritoneal dialysis, expand access to learning, and facilitate peritoneal dialysis for families with all levels of health literacy. She worked collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to make this idea a reality and transform the way we teach families about peritoneal dialysis.
