Jessica Miley

 

Director of International Development, Major & Principal Gifts

Jessica Miley is a member of the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust—the philanthropic entity of the Hospital—and is OPENPediatrics’ primary liaison to the Trust.  As the Director of International Development, she unites donors with Hospital leaders, physicians, scientists and nurses to create and implement philanthropic projects that target all disciplines of the hospital - from genetics to surgical simulation to art therapy. She is currently forging potential partnerships between Boston Children’s Hospital and stakeholders in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Jessica has spent her entire career in nonprofit management where she has extensive experience uniting philanthropists with strategic projects and priorities. From conception to implementation, Jessica works closely with business leaders and philanthropists from all over the world who share an interest in improving the health of children and facilitates their partnership with Boston Children’s Hospital. As she strategizes ways to align those interests with the Hospital's goals and priorities, the efforts impact institutions worldwide, while advancing the innovative work of Boston Children's.

Early in her career she lived and worked in both Karagwe, Tanzania and Zibo, China. These experiences sparked her interest in international philanthropy.

Graduating Summa Cum Laude and with highest honors from the University of Pittsburgh, Jessica went on to the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. She currently resides in Virginia with her husband and two children.
