Physician WSPF: The RESTORE Protocol: Nurse-Implemented Goal-Directed Sedation for Mechanically Ventilated Patients

In this video, Martha A.Q. Curley, PhD, RN, FAAN, will discuss the development and implementation of the RESTORE Protocol, which originated at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Curley will describe how the RESTORE protocol is used, how this protocol affects outcomes of sedated pediatric patients on mechanical ventilation and how sedation can be managed safely by nurses.
