Nursing WSPF: The Nursing Science Fellowship: Advancing Pediatric Nursing Science

Join us for the next Nursing World Shared Practice Forum on August 15, 2017.

This month we will be re-screening one of our videos by Drs. Jean Connor and Sandra Mott. In this video, Dr. Connor and Dr. Mott discuss the development of the Nursing Science Fellowship, a program designed to support nurse's complete clinical inquiry projects while being mentored by nurse scientists. They will explain how this program was conceptualized and why it is important for bedside nurses and their professional development. Additionally, they explain how this program advances the field of nursing by allowing bedside nurses to question their practice and find answers to their questions.

Following this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Explain why the Nursing Science Fellowship was conceptualized
  • Describe the components of the Nursing Science Fellowship
  • Discuss the goals and outcomes of the Nursing Science Fellowship
