Nursing WSPF November 2019: Management of Deformational Plagiocephaly in Hospitalized Infants Using a Novel Device


In this Nursing World Shared Practice video that debuted in 2015, Dr. Michele DeGrazia discusses her research in developing a novel device called the PlagioCradle and its use in treating Deformational Plagiocephaly. This video will go over the various forms of Deformational Plagiocephaly and challenges of future research. Dr. DeGrazia also discusses the advances in the research and development of the PlagioCradle.

Michele DeGrazia, PhD, RN, NNP-BC, FAANDirector of Nursing Research, Neonatal Intensive Care and a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Newborn Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. DeGrazia is also an Instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
