In this video, Dr. Fenella Gill, a Nurse Scientist & Researcher at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children & Curtin University in Western Australia, and National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Translating Research into Practice (TRIP) Fellow will discuss her research on developing standards in critical care nursing education.




Following this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Understand Dr. Gill's methodology used to develop Australian critical care nursing education standards
  • Discuss health consumer involvement in standards development
  • Reflect on the potential impact of international practice standards for critical care nurse education
  • Describe the challenges associated with developing and implementing new practice standards
