June 2020 Nursing WSPF: Moral Distress: Definition, Causes, and Impact on Nurses & Patients

In this video which originally debuted in 2016, Pamela Grace, PhD, RN, FAAN, will discuss her reasons for pursuing a PhD in Philosophy and Ethics, define moral distress in the clinical setting with particular emphasis on how it affects nurses, explain the importance of recognition and potential dangers of unresolved moral distress, and highlight strategies nurses can use to combat moral distress.
